Simply Tacori Engagement Ring

Diamond Engagement Ring, style 2576pr65

Does “simple” have to mean “boring?”  Not with this Simply Tacori style.

Engagement rings are by their very nature intended to be forever.  A timeless treasure that a woman can wear — and love — for a lifetime.   However, finding an engagement ring that has classic style, yet transcends beyond “basic” can present a challenge to the untrained eye.

Allow us to offer this stunningly deceptively “simple” Tacori engagement ring as an example.  Immediately, we’re drawn in by the contemporary sparkle from the modern 1.5ct princess-cut center diamond, and art deco appeal of the symmetrical square-cut diamonds set side-by-side along the sides of the ring.

The classic strength of the four-prong center diamond setting is offset with the delicacy of the millgrain detail along the sides, and a channel of diamonds seamlessly streams along the shoulders of the ring, whose clean lines impart elegance and timelessness.  Is making a ring like this “simple”?  Somewhat.  Boring?  Never.

Journey of Diamonds

Diamond Engagement Ring, style no. 2565rd9

Diamond Engagement Ring, style no. 2565rd9

Sometimes true love travels a straight path, yet more often,  Love is found along a winding road of crisscrossed lives and lovers.  Love can take us on that journey, as it becomes  more than simply a destination.

This beguiling engagement ring with its ribbon-twisted  band personifies this love story told through Diamonds, with the ups and down of the two lives seen in the path of the diamond-studded band, and the magical meeting of  “the  one” displayed with the magnificently brilliant round center diamond.

The center diamond could be interpreted as a symbol of a significant other, of  the wearer, or of the union together.   Yet no matter how you see  the design on this diamond-crossed engagement ring, one thing is certain:  it is a supreme symbol of Love.

Hills vs. City! Who wore it best?

June 21st, 2010
Posted by Michelle Adorjan

whoworeitbest_whitlo1We love trend-watching almost as much as we adore celebrity-spotting.  So it was with great delight to see two famous fashionistas from “rival” MTV shows “The Hills”  and “The City”  — Lo Bosworth and Whitney Port — both sporting the hottest summer jewelry trend of oversized stud earrings.

Each lady interpreted the look differently for a unique pairing…and we love them both!

So we ask you: Who Wore Them Best?

From the Tacori 18k925 collection, Whitney Port (“The City”) wears her Aruba Blue oversized stud earrings for poolside glamour.   Translucent faceted Lemon Quartz over bright Neolite Turquoise gives these plush studs an awe-inspiring, pop-art glow that perfectly accents Port’s ensemble.  Bringing in the glam factor, diamonds accent the framework on these earrings in a rich, 18k gold frame, evoking a dramatic, multidimensional, cushion-like look.

In similar Tacori 18k925 oversized stud earrings, Lo Bosworth dressed up her casual black tee and jeans with an updo and these edgy-glam earrings.  These smokin’ studs rock with lightning-striped Rutilated Quartz layered over inky Black Onyx for a sophisticated look with a natural edge.

Ovalicious!

June 21st, 2010
Posted by Michelle Adorjan

Dantela diamond engagement ringFor a woman with an eye for elegant glamour, this lush ovalicious engagement ring has the clean and classic lines that a woman of with discerning taste demands, yet the an untraditional elongated oval shape which saucily implies “bigger is better.”

Tacori makes an art of turning the center diamond into the “hero” of the ring, and this diamond ring is no exception.  An illuminating halo of round diamonds encircle the oval center stone, creating spotlights of shine that flicker and enhance the size and sparkle of that heroic oval diamond.  Leading up to the stone, strings of pave diamonds stream along the shoulders and on the sides for lustrous shine and continuous sparkle-factor.

This diamond ring is part of the “Dantela” collection, meaning “lace” in Romanian.  This signature detail-work is engraved on the undergallery of the oval diamond creating an intricate basket to hold the center diamond securely. Each aspect of this ring contains that inimitable Tacori touch, and the hand-crafted artisanship imparts a modern-meets-vintage feel that separates these designs from any other.

Channelling Diamond Glamour

June 20th, 2010
Posted by Michelle Adorjan

ht-2510-1-2x_multiAn engagement ring seldom possesses both the ‘wow’ factor, and still manages to embody understated elegance on the hand.   If those characteristics are what you’re looking for in a diamond ring, let us present this star style for your consideration.

Voila, an engagement ring design that unites grace and strength in stunning style.

The deliberate power and presence of diamonds partner with the femininity of  Tacori’s intricate artisanship, creating sparkle factor that simultaneously demands attention with dazzle and commands respect for its artistry in design.

Not a traditional solitaire, nor a three-stone design, with this diamond ring, strings of channel-set graduated diamonds lead up the shoulders of the band, giving this modern-classic ring design a wearable design with the center diamond sitting flushly with the band.  From the profile, lace-like signature Tacori crescent silhouettes create windows of light along the sides for interest from every angle, and a glamorous look for you to love.

Sparkle with Diamond Fusion

June 14th, 2010
Posted by Michelle Adorjan

2620-rd-lg_multi

Do you love a round diamond for its classic style and high-wattage sparkle? Or do you love a cushion-cut for its unique shape and old world elegance? Now, we always say that “diamonds go with diamonds” and we support the love for BOTH diamond shapes equally.  From a style perspective, there’s no longer any need to choose between these two lovely options, when Tacori has created the ultimate diamond-fusion engagement ring. In this unique setting, Tacori takes a mega-brilliant round diamond as the hero, and nestles in within a cushion-shaped halo of diamond enhancers. With double-split platinum prongs that virtually melt into the setting, the diamonds in the cushion setting shine as a spotlight onto the round center stone to create a showstopping sparkler. A beautiful juxtaposition of modern, yet traditional; classic, yet unconventional, you get the fire and scintillation of a round brilliant, in addition to the depth and dimension of a cushion shape. The best of both worlds shine in this fresh take on a classic diamond engagement ring.
