Posted by Michelle Adorjan

A statement piece of jewelry — in a bold color – can be a simple way to add oomph to your everyday style.  This Red Onyx designer ring is fabulous for cocktailing or as an edgy accessory.

Whether it’s the conversation-starter that ignites your Little Black Dress, or as sassy ring candy with jeans and an edgy bag, this Red Onyx ring has miles of style.

Recently worn by Christina Ricci in advance of the Emmy red carpets,  Christina took the casual approach in a distressed gray T-shirt, skinny jeans, red suede flats and this matching Red Onyx ring from the Tacori 18k925 collection.    Ricci exudes effortless cool, and endless style.

How will you sparkle in Tacori diamonds?

Tacori asked Polyvore’s stylish community to showcase their wedding style – the dress, the setting, the theme, and – of course! – the wedding and engagement rings of  their dreams.   After almost two thousand amazing entries, Tacori went through each and every set that was created in order to hand-pick the Winner  of the Dream Wedding Contest (feat. below).

TACORI WINNER

Crisss26: Summer Tacori Wedding

The elegant simplicity of this composition was striking, as was the modern & vintage feel, personified through the main image of the chicly netted veil. And while this set felt unique to the creator (crisss26), the Tacori jewelry she selected stood out on the set and immediately made this composition feel “Tacori” too.

As other spots filled out in the winners circle, there were so many other fabulous entries that deserve recognition, including (Ketsy) and ALL of her amazing sets(♥Rachel♥) for her beautiful vision of her own upcoming wedding, (JO) for her lusciously playful Tacori creations, and (love2shop4) for her incredible passion to create the perfect Tacori Wedding Day.    Thank you to the entire Polyvore community – amazing and inspirational creativity.

Hills vs. City! Who wore it best?

June 21st, 2010
Posted by Michelle Adorjan

whoworeitbest_whitlo1We love trend-watching almost as much as we adore celebrity-spotting.  So it was with great delight to see two famous fashionistas from “rival” MTV shows “The Hills”  and “The City”  — Lo Bosworth and Whitney Port — both sporting the hottest summer jewelry trend of oversized stud earrings.

Each lady interpreted the look differently for a unique pairing…and we love them both!

So we ask you: Who Wore Them Best?

From the Tacori 18k925 collection, Whitney Port (“The City”) wears her Aruba Blue oversized stud earrings for poolside glamour.   Translucent faceted Lemon Quartz over bright Neolite Turquoise gives these plush studs an awe-inspiring, pop-art glow that perfectly accents Port’s ensemble.  Bringing in the glam factor, diamonds accent the framework on these earrings in a rich, 18k gold frame, evoking a dramatic, multidimensional, cushion-like look.

In similar Tacori 18k925 oversized stud earrings, Lo Bosworth dressed up her casual black tee and jeans with an updo and these edgy-glam earrings.  These smokin’ studs rock with lightning-striped Rutilated Quartz layered over inky Black Onyx for a sophisticated look with a natural edge.

Chain Reaction

May 12th, 2010
Posted by Michelle Adorjan

Chain accents are the embellishment du jour for the edgier side of the Summer style spectrum. With a super versatile, breezy open-link embellished chain, there’s room to layer, love and wrap this lovely lariat! Crescent designs decorate each and every link for a look that is absolutely stunning on its own, worn long, doubled or lariat style, with a single pendant or many, all fastened by a golden 18k Tacori seal toggle. In luxurious 18k gold and cool .925 silver, there’s about a million ways to wear this gorgeous two-tone chain with signature Tacori details, ready to match and embellish for a look that goes from laid back California chic to uptown Manhattan socialite and back– any way you wrap it.
