Handcrafted in California
From the designer’s innovative vision, to the crafting and polishing of Tacori’s intricate signature crescent details, the entire process to handcraft Tacori jewelry takes place under the Tacori Family’s guidance at their California Design Studios.
Signature Crescent
Tacori’s engagement rings are defined by the unique design element of the crescent silhouette: interlocking half-moon arcs, which provide windows of light to reflect the brilliance of the diamonds placed within each crescent silhouette semi-circle.

Tacori originated the crescent silhouette design, and this luxurious motif is a hallmark of Tacori, and a mark of exquisite taste.
Custom Designs
Due to the bespoke nature of our jewelry, we welcome the many customers who choose Tacori rings to reflect their unique style. With our Design Studios all under one roof, we are uniquely able to ensure the highest level of quality and care as we craft your personalized design.

Tacori Engagement Rings
Handcrafted in California, a Tacori engagement ring is a symbol of connection that joins individuals and generations. Each unique engagement ring fuses heirloom elegance with modern inspiration. Because the Tacori Family oversees every aspect of our design and craftsmanship, we are able to inspect and scrutinize each ring to ensure the highest standards of quality. Here are some of the elements to consider, as you consider your engagement ring choices.

Engagement rings are symbols of the unity and commitment between you and the one you love. The band encircles the finger like a promise, sealed with a perfect diamond center.

Almost all Tacori engagement rings are sold as “semi-mounts”, which means that the side and smaller accent gemstones have already been set, but NOT the center diamond. The choice of the center diamond is all yours! To begin the selection process, we recommend exploring the shape diamond you (or your fiancée) loves. As you can see in the engagement rings above, our designer engagement rings look very different depending on whether you choose a round diamond, a princess cut diamond, a cushion cut diamond, an emerald cut diamond, or an oval diamond.

Once you select a shape, you can explore the traditional 4 Cs (cut, color, clarity, and carat weight).

And of course, to make sure you get the perfect diamond and engagement ring, we recommend observing the “fifth C,” which is communication! If you don’t feel comfortable speaking with your intended about what they like in a diamond or in a ring style, consider speaking with her friends or her family. Perhaps there are hints about likes or dislikes that have been shared, or perhaps you can discreetly ask questions about jewelry that you see in stores or on friends.

You’ve picked the perfect engagement ring and the ideal diamond for you. Now, it’s time to consider your metal selection. At Tacori we have four metal choices: rose gold, yellow gold, white gold or platinum. To start, it’s important to first decide if you’d like your ring to have a colored metal or a white metal. If you choose to celebrate color, you can choose either rose gold or yellow gold. In the white metal category, you can choose between platinum or white gold.

At Tacori, our engagement rings are primarily designed in platinum due to the purity and versatility of platinum, as well as its naturally white metallurgical properties. The reason that a white metal is important is because whatever metal you put underneath your near-colorless diamond is going to refract light. A white metal like platinum will reflect white light, and platinum will show the brilliance of your diamond in the best possible way. When platinum is used to create a Tacori engagement ring, we use .95 Pt, which is 95% pure platinum for a dense, strong alloy that will last a lifetime.

Platinum is a naturally white metal, but what many people don’t realize is that gold is a naturally yellow metal as it occurs in nature. To create a white gold appearance, the gold actually originates as yellow gold, which is turned white through chemical mixing to create an alloy. For example, 18K gold is 75% gold, with the remaining 25% being a metal alloy that is suitable for jewelry. Because of this alloy process, white gold may require maintenance over the lifetime of the ring to retain its white look. You can learn more about "Why Platinum" in this article.

Should you choose to celebrate color with your engagement ring choice that is rose gold or yellow gold, this color palette is more congruent to the natural state of gold, and will require minimal maintenance over time.

When you consider a designer engagement ring, you want to know that you’re getting something that’s unique, distinct and worth it.

As you weigh your ring options and the designs that are available to you, it’s important to take a moment to glance towards the future and consider the symbolism that an engagement ring represents when it’s worn every day over a lifetime and through generations.

At Tacori, we believe that there are certain moments that matter. Moments which carry more significance than others. We believe that an engagement between two people, marked with an engagement ring, is one of those moments. To celebrate that moment, you’ll want an engagement ring that carries your love with grace and beauty to tell your story throughout generations. That’s one of the reasons that we care so deeply about honoring this moment for you, and why we’re passionate about creating an engagement ring that is truly timeless, truly Tacori, and truly unique to you.

As you look for a unique engagement ring that’s worthy of your love story, one distinct element that you can look for on a Tacori engagement ring is the famous signature crescent silhouette design, which you’ll find on the inner face of virtually every Tacori ring.

Tacori originated the crescent silhouette design, and this luxurious motif is a hallmark of Tacori and a mark of exquisite taste. You will not find this design element on any other engagement ring in the world; it is unique to Tacori and exclusive to the women (and men) who wear Tacori designs.

In order to bear the Tacori name, only the best gold, platinum and diamonds with at least G color and VS clarity are selected, and each piece much meet the rigorous standards of quality and beauty unique to Tacori engagement rings.

Each Tacori engagement ring diamond perfectly matches hand-selected gems to ensure the diamonds have a consistent shine and brilliance. We call this the Tacori Touch; it’s how we refer to the intricate detail and personal craftsmanship with transforms each Tacori design into a unique work of art. You’ll see this reflected in the beauty from every angle when you wear your Tacori engagement ring.

The philosophy of personal care and quality guides every facet if the Tacori process.

From the desk of our Design Director and COO, Nadine Tacorian Arzerounian, to the final crafting and polishing of Tacori’s intricate signature crescent details, the entire process to handcraft Tacori engagement rings and jewelry takes place under the Tacori Family’s guidance at our California Design Studios.
